We had a wonderful stay here - the staff were simply wonderful and friendly, the resort gorgeous, and the lagoon fabulous!! New Years"" festivities were great! We live in NY and have travelled to many luxury spots in the world and this is right up there. I recommend an initial stay in Moorea - an island that is so beautiful it takes your breath away and then on to Bora Bora with waters that are beyond belief! We stayed in a ""motu bungalow"" that was so beautiful and right on the beach (#111), privacy with lots of personal touches (to me, the true meaning of luxury)

This property is in desperate need of a renovation particularly the overwater bungalows which are a disaster. I would descibe them as overpriced shrimp shacks that belong in the bayou. The service at this supposed luxury resort is utterly lacking.
