This was my first time in Hong Kong, and I was very pleased with the Ramada Kowloon. We stayed here for three days and two nights, and it was wonderful. The receptionist was polite and tried her best to speak English. We resided on the eighth floor, and the moment I entered our rooms (we had three) I was astounded! They were so neatly fixed and clean and the colors were soothing to my eyes. My room did not exactly have the best view, which was of the neighboring high-rise buildings of the middle class citizens. However, the beds were always in neat shape and were very comfortable to sleep in. I guess the housekeeper comes in everyday, since once I left my clothes unfolded on the bed, and when I came back, they were neatly folded on my bed. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, living up to Ramada standards. However, the negatives include that you have to pay for anything you consume from the room (unless it's your own of course). Also, we did not get the non-smoking floor, and someone in the room across the corridor from us was constantly smoking, thus bringing nicotine scent into our room. But, the closet was very spacious and the whole room was always bright.
Also, the hotel is right in the vicinity of many stores, and right across the street is a McDonald's. Also, just on the corner is a foreign currency exchange. Very convenient! Some well-known stores, such as Giordano, Lacoste, Espirit, and Bossini are a 20-minute walk from the hotel, but other stores such as Po San Company, which sells souvenir T-shirts at bargain prices and Watson's are within ten minutes.
I would definitely stay here again when I return to Hong Kong. -

The prime feature of the Ramada is its location. If u r on a vacation u will enjoy the things around it. The best things is the MTR station through which u can move to any place of Hong Kong with out much of a hazale. The night life around is also very good. One can enjoy in the night clubs around or simply strole down to the I should say the river cost to enjoy the night view of Hong Kong.
