I have been to many resorts in Cabo,Puerto Vallarta,Ixtapa,Cancun,Ohco Rios, and Montego Bay and I am tired of comparing all of those resorts to Couples in Negril. The last time we were there 4 NFL players were staying there. The food is AWESOME. The extra bells and whistles are not noticed until you get there. This is the ONLY place for us to go in the future.

This is the first review I have ever written. I used previous reviews to finally pick which hotel/resort to go with for our recent Honeymoon, so I wanted to return the favor for others as well. This place is great!!! Super friendly staff and the greens are kept in excellent condition. Food was great at all restaurants, beaches were clean/nice and all of the free water activities are key! We recommend the catamaran cruise..:) I would save the trouble and go with this place. We cant wait to go back - met other couples who had been there 6+ times.... Solid 4.7 out of a 5 scale....

Really enjoyed this vacation. We were there for a family wedding. They were very professional for the wedding. The food was really good. The beach and the grounds are very well taken care of. The entire staff was very friendly. There are bigger resorts in Negril, but this is just the right size. I can only think of a couple of things that I would change, and they are both small. I think the towel are showing wear and I would have liked clean towel when they did turn down service. It definitely a 2 shower a day vacation! Also, I have long hair and the shampoo/conditioner wasn't very good. I'll bring my own next time.

I relied heavily on the reviews I read online before booking our trip, so it is only right for me to write one too. This resort was extremely nice. The grounds were lovely, the rooms were comfortable, and the amenities on the beach were nice. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. There were fun activities to participate in if you wish. The food was good; however, there is no casual place (beach attire friendly) to have dinner. Dress was casual at all but one of the restuarants (shorts o.k. but men had to have sleeves); but I was left with the feeling that I had to 'get dressed for dinner'. I expected people to still swim in the pools in the warm evenings, but I didn't see that happen. Also, there is no 'lively' night spot, atmosphere is geared toward quiet and romantic evenings. Very nice resort though.

We got married at Couples Negril in Aug.08 on the beach. It was a dream. The resort is not fluffy/pretentious, it's very comfortable Caribbean eclectic, just as they describe, very beautiful, very colorful. It is all inclusive and no tipping. Since you are inside a resort, you are protected from beach riff raff. We used the au natural beach and were protected from solicitation. The room bar was kept stocked. The service is wonderful and the food at all the restaurants was fabulous. The breakfast spread was magnificent every morning. There is so much to do without leaving the resort but mostly we chose to enjoy the beach. We did snorkel, day and night. There is much to learn about this resort on their website. It is true, once you go, you know. Trying to revisit again this year and will stay here again, and again. There's no real reason to go anywhere else in Jamaica. Best trip I've ever been on.
