The Leela Mumbai is a very nice hotel and the rooms appear to have been recently renovated. The rooms are very nice and large by Mumbai standards and equipped with modern features (flat screen TV, etc.). The bath is very nice with a huge walk in shower and separate tub. The fitness center and spa were being renovated while I was there in Aug, 2008 and set to be completed by Nov, 2008. The temporary fitness center is in a meeting room and has no facilities beyond the work out equipment. I ate in the Chinese restaurant and had room service several times and the food was very good.

This was a super hotel. First class all the way. The rooms were very nice. The overall hotel was frist class. Pool was gorgeous although you need to get there by 1p on weekends. Heavy dose of english and Hindi TV stations. The hotel was pretty expensive but seems to be comparable to other 5 STARs around the airport. The airport was 10 minutes away which was very handy when you are arriving and departing around 2a. Hotel charges about $25 for 24 hours fo wi-fi which is a rip-off. Wide selection of hotel restaraunts. Breakfast was inlcuded in my rate and was awesome. Every option you could imagine for breakfast. The fitness center was under construction so they were just using a small meeting room for a few treadmills.
