Set at the base of the Great Pyramids, this hotel is set on 40 acres of ornamental gardens, and is situated approximately 22 miles from Cairo International Airport. This is currently the only hotel in Egypt with a golf course. Built as a royal hunting lodge and converted into a hotel in 1869, the Mena House combines original arabesque Islamic architecture with a newer garden wing to create a modern luxury resort.
