My friend lives in Hong Kong and recommended this hotel for our stay. Hong Kong, like NYC, is all about the price and the location--and this hotel was great for both. The room was big and featured great views of the city but it wasn't fancy. It was clean, modern, and functional. Plus, the hotel has a rooftop pool and is located right near a good subway stop. All in all, this was the perfect headquarters for our HK adventure. The only bad thing was how hard the bed was. But this is a problem all over Asia so what are you going to do? It was rock hard.

Good: Hotel is located within 3 minutes of the closest MTR station (Tin Hau). It's very convenient to bus and tram routes as well. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. View from the pool of Hong Kong and TST is gorgeous. Free internet connection in my room...unfortunately not wifi. Not so good: Pool closes at 9pm and cannot go out to the roof top to admire the night view of Hong Kong. There was one incident where I had a dirty bed sheet (stain). Fortunately, I was able to get the housekeeper to give me a clean bedsheet and was done promptly. The 3 elevators were rather slow and small. I was there in mid-May 2008 and it was hot in the elevator. Needs air conditioning in the elevator.

The hotel is in a great location near public transportaion. It is worth the extra money to upgrade to a bayview room - the view is spectacular. THe hotel staff are very polite and accomodating. We were impressed at the quality and attentiveness of the wait staff in the dinning room. My wife and I enjoyed the breakfest buffet each morning and foud the choices to be plentiful and excellent. The only negative wew had was the dampness in the room. It was quickly resolved by a call to housekeeping who broght up a dehumidifiyer which ran throughout our stay producing about 2 gallons of water each day. My wife and I look forward to our next trip to Hong Kong and will definetly stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in the harbour view room and definitely worth the money. The room was small but definitely worth the money. The staff are courteous and friendly. Near the subway. The free internet in the room definitely came in handy and the rooftop pool was wonderful.
Very good value for the money.
