  I have been to Santo Domingo many times and have stayed in numerous hotels yet, I always gravitate to the Hotel Santo Domingo. The attention to detail and courteous staff, make you feel welcome and at home. The guest rooms do need to be upgraded regarding amenities, however, the quality, elegance, and beauty of the hotel and not to mention the free buffet breakfast with fresh fruits and juices, make your stay worthwhile. I recommend it highly.
