The Mondrian has a very nice staff and is in a great location in Scottsdale. On the down side, they charge an extra $10.00 per night for parking. Also the rooms do not feel very safe, they are on the opposite side of the street from the lobby and anyone could be walking in the open hallway outside of your room. The ground floor rooms have patios, which is nice, however they are all connected to each other, so it is not comfortable to leave your sliding glass door open and there are no screens on the doors, even if you did. Overall there are better hotels for the money.

I booked this hotel for a friends birthday party expecting it to be a great experience. It was just ok. When we checked in they gave us a room in the back of the hotel where the window was blocked by a huge tree so there were no views from our room. Also the room was dirty with stains on the bedspread and the last guests charger left in the socket...we were wondering what else house cleaning missed. When we requested a new room the front desk people had changed and the girl who helped us was so rude she started making the birthday girl cry...the guy next to her apologized and moved us and our party to the bungalows which are near the pools and were also much cleaner. Our overall experience was ok but the hotel seems to lacking in service. The one redeeming quality is the restaurant Asia De Cuba, AMAZING food!! The beef carpacio salad is to die for!! and the mojito's are yummy!!

Had some friends visiting from out of town last weekend so I thought I would take a little vacation of my own...and boy am I glad I did! This place was amazing! Staff was super friendly, the lobby was gorgeous and the beds in the rooms were soooooo...comfortable! we stayed Friday - Sunday and i'm telling you...if you're looking for a place that has the party this is it! the pool is gorgeous (and there are always gorgeous people sitting around it). The bars are so much fun...and the restaurant, Asia de Cuba, has the most amazing patio! The hotel is right in the center of everything! I had no idea such a great hotel existed right in my own back yard. I will be back regardless if I have friends in town or not!

Just great, from the price to the service better than the Ritz Carlton and that hard to do. stayed two days flew to LosAngeles for two days and returned to the Mondrian instead of staying in LA.
