We stayed during off season to see FSU play BYU. We prepaid and got the fourth night "free", so with fees the average cost per night was about $175. For that we got a two bath cabin (condo) wtih two gas burning fireplaces, a full kitchen, leather furniture, two plasma TV's and a hot tub. The place was spectacular. Located on a golf course at the base a mountain with a Ruth's Chris on premise, the location was ideal. Service was also quite nice.

The Hotel Park City has one of the most beautiful settings, the rooms are very well appointed, cottages have a small kitchen and all the equipment you need to eat in. We were on a month long tour and this was our first stop, my Husband suffer what I thought was a stroke, but turned out to be a Pacemaker was needed to keep his heart at a steadied beat. The Hotel staff were outstanding, over and above the call of duty, I don?t know how I would have survived this ordeal without their help and support. They allowed me to stay in the same room, even thou it was a July 4th holiday weekend and they were fully booked, they organized transportation to and from the Hospital in Salt Lake City each day for me. Tim called me each day to check in with me and give me reassurance. All I can say is, if you?re in Park City and what a First Class Hotel this is the place. Thanks and can?t wait to start our trip next year with our first stop at the Hotel Park City.

It wasn’t really winter or summer. If it was there would have been more to do. As it was my wife and I spent most of the time walking looking at the quaint little shops in the Historic District and driving around. The room itself was nice but they were having problems with cooling. The first night upon entering the room it was 82F. We immediately called the front-desk and there suggestions were open the door and turn off the rooms heating and AC. We did that yet it was still 78F when we wanted to go to bed. We called the front-desk again and asked if they could send up a portable oscillating fan. It took a couple of tries but they finally got hold of one that worked. It helped somewhat but not entirely. Next day they sent someone to repair the rooms heating and AC but they made things worse. After getting back from our walking and driving we came to find the room was 94F and climbing. Once again I called the front-desk and this time they switched us into a new room. This one was cooler yet there was something funky going on with beds. Both my wife and I tossed and turned all night even though the room was much cooler. They do have a pool but the one time I tried to get in an check the water my room card would not work. I thought the front-desk had heard enough from me so I did not say anything about it. Prices for dinning out were not quite what I was expecting: $25 to $30 for breakfast and $35 to $50 for dinners. In spite of the setbacks the trip was still good but I owe that to my wonderful, patient, gorgeous wife.
