  We came for a winter break from the East Coast. The room was okay, clean enough, not a bad size, the staff were friendly. The location is fairly noisy and not that centrally located- right between two busy freeways. Shopping is close. There was a homeless guy at the continental breakfast for several days which was pretty creepy. Worst thing was that on the third day of our 4 day trip they tell us the water is going to be shut off at 9am the follwing day for the whole day which meant that when we got up in the morning we had to shower right away and that was it...no more bathroom facilities...no showering late before our flight that evening at 8pm- no returning to the room to use the bathroom, etc...just "we will have the water off" and that's it. Totally unacceptable and unreasonable.

  One of the worst places I've ever stayed. The room was supposed to be N/S and it REEKED of smoke. The hotel was right next to the freeway, so there was no peace and quiet. Plus, my room was on the outside, so I could hear every conversation and every car in the parking lot at all hours of the night. The walls were thin. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Some of the clientele were scary, so I didn't feel safe as a single woman. Needlesss to say, I got very poor sleep in this place and would never stay there again. I did not try the breakfast or the fitness facility. The front desk staff was OK.

  I've stayed in a few places when visiting my family in Vista. This is the only place that I would go back to. It was basic, but clean and the staff was friendly. OK free breakfast. Hair dryers and coffee machines in the rooms. Beds were comfy. Area, maybe not the best, but close to the freeway.

  Though I was not impressed with the uncomfortable beds (my husband opted to sleep on the floor on our second night), I did like that the continental breakfast offered a good selection of food for my children. The front desk person was nice and even deleted all the calls that my 2-year-old accidentally made while playing with the phone.
