I stayed with my family which is myself wife and two kids. Got to hotel at 8 am checked us right in. When I saw the room was a bit dissapointed I was expecting a suite to look much different. The room had a nasty smell to it like mold or something like that. But the bed was comfortable. The sofa bed though is a different story my 6 year old got on it and it was nothing but metal springs popping up. I had to set the kids up on the floor which had no padding on it by the way but felt much better than the sofa bed. I speak spanish and as I passed by housekeeping the three days I stayed there all they where doing was standing around talking about how much they hate eachother. If they would put that much effort into the cleanliness of the room it would be a o.k. place to stay. Would I stay there again no rather pay the extra $* a night somewhere else plus they charge for parking $* a night and the spots where so small my truck did not fit in any spots I had to jump half my truck onto a side walk and jump my seat to the passanger side to get out.

  • Nice front desk, not nice in the back.

Of the three hotels that I reserved for this particular trip, this costs the most and I was under the impression it would be the best. Unfortunately, I was wrong. The good thing about this hotel the lobby, roomy breakfast area, and nice pool. The bad thing was security or the lack of, there was graffiti on room doors, you had to use key cards to get in your rooms off of the stairs, which was the encouraged way to get to the higher floors there were two elevators, a nice one by the lobby and a not so nice one by the pool in the back central part of the hotel. The room was your basic size hotel room, reduced in size by a wall cutting the room in half, to allow them to say it was a two room suite. Yes two tv's was nice, but we were so squished in I pretty much had to put my pack n' play right next to the front door. The room was smaller than a basic room as a result. So it being a suite is a huge stretch of the imagination. The final problem I had with this hotel was the fact that there were signs hanging all over about it being a Non-Smoking hotel, yet people were smoking all over the place, when I mentioned it to the front desk they wanted me to tell them who it was and what room number they were in, since I saw more than one, and I wasn't following them around--goes back to the lack of security. Anyway, the pool was great--except for the fact that all these strange men were lurking about watching you as they got away with smoking on the grounds of the hotel.

The hotel itself is not bad, the breakfast is a joke. The pictures that they show of a deluxe continental breakfast must be from a different hotel because this hotel does not offer any of that. We ended up finding a grocery store close by and buying yogurts and other breakfast items since we have young children and they did not want to eat toast every morning for breakfast. The only reason why we chose this hotel over some others that were rated in this category was because of the continental breakfast. Next time I would stay at the hotels in this category that were the same price that offered free parking (which this one did not), and go get breakfast at the grocery store (which is what we did anyways). The pool was nice but the king suite is tiny. Our room was given away at 10pm when we got there because it is all first come first serve. So after explaining that we were not sleeping on the floor they finally gave us an upgrade which was worse than the King room I had originally reserved which was the King room w/couch. They originally tried putting us in a room with two double beds and my husband is 6'5"". They said that they always overbook their rooms which is terrible customer service. There were no chairs to sit on, only the bed and two small children under foot. The housekeeping staff seemed very polite and nice but the rest of the place was not that great. The fact that you had to pay to park when they have their own parking lot is a rip off. I don't know that I would stay here again but if you just need a bed its okay.

The room was clean and well stocked with great quality towels pillows and bedding. The bed was more comfortable than mine at home and the pillows were in a word, devine. The breakfast was a nice surprise with everything from scrambled eggs, home made waffels, sausage to the regular continental style items. The pool was a wonderful 90 degrees and the spa was quite relaxing. I was surprised to be charged $7.00 a day for parking but I did not mind paying after I did not have to search for a parking space close to the entrance. The staff was helpful, polite and knoledgeble.
