  From the time that my family walked into the hotel the service was great, comfortable, hospitable, and welcoming. The employess were very professional and pleasant. The service was great. The room was spacious for my two kids......Like a home away from home. My kids enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning and my spouse enjoyed the evening managers happy hour. I can't wait for my next vacation where I utilize a hotel....Embassy Suites will be my hotel of choice

  The made to order breakfast included with the room cost was great. This was a full breakfast with omletes, hashbrowns, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, pastries, etc. not a continental breakfast with only donuts and oranges. It helped us cut costs of feeding a family of 4 (with 2 teens) which allowed us to spend it on transportation. It is LA, so anywhere you go there is a cost to park or for the taxi/metro. The rooms are large, clean and have comfortable beds. The mini-kitchenette (sink, microwave and frig.) was nice to have for an extended stay. A sink is also in the bedroom allowing mutiple people to get ready in the morning. All of the staff was helpful with directions and things to do while my husband was in conferences during the day. The computers in the business center were a little slow, but was ok to check email or check in for flights. There is not a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel, but there is a trolley that goes to Manhattan Beach for $3 round trip. It was great! We took the trip twice - once to shop and again to spend the day at the beach.

  I really like Embassy Suites. OK, it's not a resort hotel, a luxury hotel, a super duper fancy hotel...This hotel, however, is a business style hotel and a nice one for the money. Each suite has two rooms - so very large. Perfect for a family or a couple that needs some space, or if you're on business. THis time I went up to LAX to drop off the wife. Great location to the airport, parking did cost, but it was covered and underground - elevators take you to your floor. The hotel had a small restaurant which was nice. LAX is close to Santa Monica - so this hotel is nice for those who want to take some time to visit the Promenade. Room: Large, not *new* or *super clean* feeling but it was a nice room - again, not a resort/luxury hotel. LAX: Again, close to the airport and they also provide a shuttle. For stays like this, especially if you need large rooms with some privacy, this is a great place to stay. If you see a good deal - take it. Note: for LAX there is a NOrth and South Embassy Suites - I like this one better than the ""South"" one.

  This was one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay. The first room we were assigned had AC problems but within 10 minutes of a call to the front desk a staff person was there to check the problem. Something was broken so the staff moved us to another room down the hall immediately and checked on us several times to be certain everything in our new room was working great. At booking we were a little concerned there might be airline noise being so close to LAX airport but we could not hear any plane noise at all. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the cook to order complimentary breakfast each morning and once again the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if visiting LA. 5 star hotel all the way for a budget friendly price. Thank you Embassy Suites!
