  The staff were extremely helpful and very accommodating. Their friendliness and level of knowledge of the surrounding area made me very comfortable. For every inquiry I had, they provided a wealth of information. The facilty is very clean and is in a fabulous location. Shuttle service was provided by the hotel to the airport and Caltrain station....huge savings! The purpose of our trip was to visit San Francisco. Getting down to the city required planning and utilizing a few different forms of transportion, as there is not direct access. The hotel, however, was wonderful. We had the complimentary breakfast each day and the fajitas and wine one evening. I immensely enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn San Mateo and highly recommend it to anyone going to that area.

  This place is in a nice area & is quiet, safe, clean & had everything we needed. the kids said the hot tub was itchy.
