  I've stayed here twice. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it's great that the rooms have small kitchens. However on my second stay, in spite of having a non-smoking room, the room reeked of smoke and chemicals. It smelled frightening enough that I wondered if I should be concerned for my health. The window was closed when I arrived -- it definitely needed to be open and with a large fan propped up to get some air moving. I kept the window open all 3 days I was there but it only opens halfway and seemed to smell as bad when I left. Also one morning there I couldn't get any hot water. There was evidently nothing wrong, I guess the boiler just ran out. It didn't seem overly full, but I always took the precaution of showering the night before. I will look for a nicer hotel next time. Safe air to breathe and hot water seem like pretty basic issues that one should be able to expect from a hotel.

  I was traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast and made a reservation, but because of bad weather I could not make it back to CA on the arrival date. I tried calling ONLINE TRAVEL WEBSITE to help me get my money back or cancel and they tried over 3 times to talk to the hotel manager *, and he said, ""We already charged your credit card, so there is nothing we can do at this point!"" BAD SERVICE, especially in this econmony! I will NEVER book/stay here! There are so many hotel chains in this nation that putting up with this kind of treatment is not good!

  Stayed for a week during business trip. hard to find, in hospital park. rooms clean. shower needed minor work, took 36 hours to get it done.
