  Arrived for late checkin at 10:30pm after travelling all day. confirmed with the front desk that the pool was still open for swimming. went upstairs to find dying beetle ...

  Arrived for late checkin at 10:30pm after travelling all day. Confirmed with the front desk that the pool was still open for swimming. Went upstairs to find dying beetle and hair on counter in the room, otherwise tidy. Returned downstairs with an anxious 12 yr old wanting to swim. After my child stepped in the pool, front desk personnel came into the pool room to let us know that someone had "vomitted" in the pool and the pool was now closed. Was tempted, but too tired, to check out, however, was advised by the front desk that the management would be advised and an adjustment to the room rate upon checkout would be made. Upon checkout, no note was made on the file, requested manager who was not on premises, was assured would receive a call on cell phone later the same day, and/or adjustment to the $ visa charge. Neither transpired. Have been to many Best Westerns, this was not a stellar hotel for the chain.

  The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and very clean.The only thing I would of liked to see was the breakfast food checked more often. Things were low and didnt get replaced. Good place to stay.

  We booked this hotel for close proximity to airport. Hotel was being renovated and there was a strong smell of paint. On arriving we changed into out bathing suits to take advantage of the spa facilities. The front desk couldn't give me change of $20 for the vending machine,and I was directed across the road to the gas station. It was raining and I was in my swim suit. Finally, when arriving at reception in the morning for my 6am flight, I was told that there were no bagged breakfasts. Not good for an airport hotel.
