  We got to the room and it looked amazing, it was a suite w kitchenette on the bottom floor room 103, you go down the hall past the pool all the way to the end, thru a door, it was the only room with an outside entrance which at first I thought was kinda cool but a little weird. We paid a pretty penny for our room and at this point it was nice, we had a view of the ocean and were right along the road to get to the ocean. We were gone most of the day and when we returned we got into bed when my friend started screaming, she had a long black millipede on her. And then she noticed another on the floor and then we noticed they were everywhere. EVERYWHERE we counted at least 30 of them, a total infestation!!! The night desk woman told me that they have had problems with them before especially in that room. Which made me wonder why they would even let people stay in that room? We went out to the front desk and after calling all the hotels in the area ;took about an hour and it was already 2am; the front desk woman remembered a woman had checked out earlier and we got her 2nd floor room which the front desk woman promptly cleaned and gave us......NO BUGS! thank god. We are a little better now 3:45am but if I ever stay here again it will most certainly not be on the first floor! I just think it is completely wrong and disgusting to be selling a room that is known for having a major worm infestation to people and charging them as much as the regular suites, it should be offered at a discounted rate

  We stayed at the hotel for one night over the Presidents weekend. Check in was very slow, not enough front desk help. We had no problems checking in, however the couple before us did not have the orginial credit card that they reserved the room with and the hotel would not let them check in. A word of advise, bring the exact credit card that you reserved with when you go to check in. Other then that, staff was very friendly. Our room was an ocean view on the second floor with an awesome view. The room was very clean, updated and very spacious. We asked for a crib and not only was it delivered immediately, but plenty of room for it as well. The room had a mini-kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot), but no dish towels and all utinsels were paper or plastic. Bathroom area, consisted of two sinks, hairdryer and spacious tub and bath. All of which were very clean and plenty of wash and bath towels. We did not use the pool, but it was fairly nice size and lots of people were using it. The hotel is about a 1000 yards away from the ocean waters and about a 1/4 mile from the main street of town. Its located on the north end of town. The hotel does not serve continental breakfast on weekends or holidays. The price was a little high for one night and not having the continental breakfast was a downer, however you are paying for the view. Upon research it was only $20.00 more for an ocean veiw versus partial or parking lot view. We would stay again, just because of the view, close to beach and not on the main drag of town.

  The hotel seemed a little run down. The bathroom sinks had really weird pressure; they sprayed at you. Some stains on the wallpaper. Everything else seemed clean. At times the hallways were very noisy and you could hear everything. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was terrible; just some bagels and milk. We ended up going to the Waves Restaurant attached on the 3rd floor, and their breakfast buffet was alright. Nothing special, similar to army food, just a better presentation.
  
  Next time we'll stay someplace else in hopes for a better value.
