  Mission style area. Easy walk to beach and shops. Rooms remodeled and clean. It even smelled of new paint and carpet. We had a lovely stay, wish we could have stayed longer to explore the shops and hang out at the beach.

  Our room was clean and spacy. Excellent service and an enjoyable breakfast (wow included in the room rate). Free parking and great location. Our room was quiet and away from the train pass . We'll recommend it and come back in our next visit to California.

  We had a nice time in San Clemente. We came only because we wanted to see Nixon's stomping grounds. We werent sure about the hotel, but once we arrived we were quite happy with the accomodations. Pool area was really nice, the beach was a short walk, and the staff was quite friendly.

  The front desk staff was rude and did not help much with simple general questions. the property is old and not very well maintained.

  I've stayed here twice in the past month and was very pleased by my experiences. Both times I paid for a Queen bed and was upgraded for free to a King. The rooms are quiet, extremely clean, and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. I haven't tried the pool yet, but the rooms that I've used have had private balconies with a view of a lovely courtyard with fountain.
