  Breakfast hours were only until 900 am, when traveling with teenagers that is on the early side. Few restaurants are nearby. Easy to get to. Rooms are comfortable, clean and roomy.

  I enjoyed my stay a lot. All the staff was very nice and helpful. They even told us how to ride the small train to go to Historical Sacramento. Breakfast was more than I expected, with lots of fruits! I don't drink coffee and even though they did not have hot chocolate on the breakfast bar, I had no problem getting hot chocolate when I asked for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. As for myself, if I ever visit that area I would gladly stay there again.

  My husband and I stayed in this hotel to attend a wedding in Woodland. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel property. We were pleased with the hotel clerk (a trainee) who assisted us with our check in; she was very nice and professional. We enjoyed the delicious, complimentary daily breakfast of potatoes, pancakes, bagels, fresh fruit, etc... The pool and jacuzzi were both well maintained. We thought the location was great; short driving distance to the State Capitol. Because of the close proximity to the freeway, we requested a room away from the traffic & noise and our request was happily accommodated. Other than hearing the maids say "house-keeping" and knocking on doors in the morning, the room was pretty quiet. My only concern was when we checked out; the clerk was going to charge our credit card for the room. However, we had already PRE-PAID our vacation package online four months prior on the travel website(the package included flight, hotel and car rental). When we objected to the charge, the clerk advised us that they had not received payment from travelocity. Upon reviewing further, the clerk advised us that they were given an incorrect credit card by the travel agency. We refused to sign the checkout papers as we did not want to be charged again for the room. We provided the clerk with our documents to show we had already paid; she made copies and gave us a note indicating that we would not be charged. We will be double-checking our credit card statments just to be sure. The female clerk was nice and professional with this transaction; I can only assume that the error was on part of the travel agency! We will definitely stay here again if we visit Northern California.

• Watch Out the EXTRA Charge from this hotel

  When I checked out my hotel, I was ridiculously and unreasonably charged extra of $20 due to my group of 4 people. The counter representative told me that the price of the hotel is only for accommodation of 2 people, not for 4 people. I, however, tried to explain to him that base on my booking package through Travelocity.com, I did book for party of 4 people in the combination of air tickets, lodging (hotel), and car rental. Due to this package, of course the hotel should surely accommodate for 4 people. In addition, my booking receipt from Travelocity.com is also printed as ?ROOM 1: standard room with 2 Queen Beds (4 adults)?. The representative told me that he has nothing to do with this charge due to the fact that this charge was made by his manager; he (the representative) does not have the authorized code to overwrite this charge. I ended up still being charged this extra $20 and almost missed my flight due to all these long long?. negotiations.
  
  I will NOT stay in this hotel again.
