  The hotel does not guarantee your room after 10:30 p.m. I gave them my credit card number and called them and let them know that we were going to be late. They told me no problem and our room was guaranteed. But when we arrived at the hotel around midnight after 6 hours of driving, we were told that our room was given away to other people. They told us that our credit card was rejected but when I called my credit card company, the credit card company told us that no one attempted to charge my credit card that night. Basically, the hotel people lied to us. They left us without a place to stay at 1:00 a.m., and they were not even apologetic. I just don?t know how a company can run its business they do. Be aware.

  I was pleasantly surprised by my stay in Atascadero. I was attending a business meeting held at the hotel's conference center and expected basic hotel comforts - this hotel offers it's guests free use of a full health club located right next door, I took a yoga class then relaxed in my room. The high speed internet was convenient and the breakfast the next morning offered plenty of choices. Upon departing Atascadero, I discovered many wineries in the area, I will have to return to visit them. I definitely recommend the Best Western Colony Inn, friendly service, great location and alot of features!
