We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it very comfortable. We liked that it is one block off the main highway and quiet. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The ladies at check-in when we arrived (approx. 2 pm) were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us to eating places. I do have two complaints. We were in a room on the far side of the wing away from the lobby and could not get the wireless internet connection. If we had been on the other side of this building, we probably would have had a connection. The other complaint is personal - I prefer to have yougurt and something else available for breakfast other than breads and carbs. Other than that - the rolls and waffles and juices were acceptable. I was hungry - I ate! I left my jacket at the hotel and discovered this problem 4 days after we left. When I called to inquire about it - they said it was right there in the lost and found dept and offered to mail it to me. I appreciate that it was kept safe until we were able to swing back by there on our way home.

I don't even know where to begin. I will make a very long story as short as I can. I stayed at Comfort Inn's recently aquired 5th St. Inn annex. There was no remote for the tv... whatever, so I tried to call the front desk to inquire about that. The phone would not work. I tried to call 911 out of curiosity and THAT wouldn't even work! So I called 411 from my cell phone to call the front desk, but because it wasn't a Verizon tower, they coudn't text me the number. There was no pencil/pen or paper in the room to write the number down so I saved it to another cell I had and called the front desk. The polite new front desk boy who was working that night attempted to handle my litany of complaints as best he could, but ultimately the responsibility falls on the GM of the motel who HUNG UP on my husband when he attempted to work with him to resolve our issues. The GM didn't seem very conserned that providing us with a non-working phone was against the law. He offered to upgrade us to a room with a working phone for $14 more!!! So... to make a long story short... the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life.

This hotel was not a great place to stay. We walked in an a young boy was playing on the computers at the front desk. They person who was working the front desk was more interested in the boys card game on the computer than us standing there waiting to be checked in. When we walked into the room, the room smelled, and the carpet was filthy. It had one light under the front window and it made the room very dark. The cable tv only had about 6-7 channels that worked. The shower was very short - about 4 foot high. No hot water in the sink. Could not close bathroom door to get into the shower (too close to the toilet) Refused to give receipt for room.

it was a family vacation. We stayed there for 2 night. The front desk lady was very honestly telling us there might be some bug probs. there was actually not. Be sure to ask for a non-dog room to stay. The breakfast was good with wafers and eggs and the chef is so nice and very friendly. there is free wireless internet. The city is small and quite with beautiful view. we visited the mining museum there too. there are about 1 hour driving to the entrance of Yosemite. It is full of view. I would stay there again and recommend my friend to stay too.

This Comfort Inn is in Mariposa which is a ways outside the park. It is an hour to get to the Valley Floor. Our room had an ant problem. When informing the staff, they blamed it on us for bringing food in the room. Ants were there when we walked in. The other room we booked was non-smoking but had smokers in the room since the room reeked with smoke and a lighter was found in the bathroom. Lots of stairs so not handicapped accessible. Breakfast was ok but there are not many other places to eat.
