  Love this place -- I've been staying here for five years for work and vacations -- it's close to my headquarters, and central for meeting friends. Staff is fabulous, and eager to meet whatever needs you have, whether business-oriented or family-focused. If you have to run out in the middle of the night to the CVS or Pavillions that are 1 blk away for an emergency ;medication, food craving, etc.they'll send a security guard with you. You're within distance of a 24-hour deli, several decent mid-priced restaurants and some acceptable fast-food places, you can walk to the marina if you need to, and it's a quick hop over to the 405 on the Marina Freeway -- never takes me more than 1/2 hour to get to Hollywood, Century City or DowntownOK, so I don't hit them at rush hour. Venice, Santa Monica, Pac Pal and Malibu are equally easy to get to by zipping down Lincoln to Washington to Abbott Kinney to Ocean to PCH. Free parking is also a bonus, and if you're cabbing it, the cabs are right outside. As someone who travels often, I really appreciate this place. Even when not everything was as expected, management did what they could to fix the problem upgraded us when they screwed up our reservation, gave us free bike rentals when they couldn't get us into our room on time, comped me meals and sent someone up to clean at 10 p.m. and do my laundry for free when housekeeping overlooked my room accidentally. Can't say enough about it.

  Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Easy to get to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. Free parking too!. Would have liked a refrigerator in room. Jerry;s 24 hour deli a block away. Easy to get to Hollywood, West Hollywood and Burbank. Airport (LAX) is less than 10 minutes away.
