  The description of our accommodations was exaggerated, to say the least. The "upgraded" room we paid for was a huge disappointment. Our credit card was "pre-charged" and non-refundable, which should have been our first hint. The room was small, dark, and located in a dingy motel-like building across the street from the main building. It had a tiny stall shower (no tub) and a toilet that wouldn't stop running. The bathroom faucet had a constant drip. The lock between our room and the adjoining room was flimsy- a big security issue. TV reception was spotty, at best. Bulbs were missing in the lamps which made the room even darker. There were several lumps under the carpet as well. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to leave. Find somewhere else to stay in Sonora!

  This is by far the SMALLEST hotel room I've ever stayed in! There was no closet, and just enough space to walk around the bed. The elevator is very old-fashioned and quaint, but NOT user friendly when you are just one person trying to drag your luggage through the folding gate. Also, I was incredibly disappointed to find out that even though it is advertised both online and in the room's Guest Directory that all rooms have internet access, yet this was not the case!!! You have to bring your laptop down to the lobby and sit on one of the couches there to access wireless, and you're out of luck if you wanted to use it in your room or if you wanted to plug in your computer for power. Also, the covers on the bed (sheets excluded) were stained and the sink & tub were not wiped down. I do have to say that the staff was friendly.

  The rooms were a good size, the staff was WONDERFUL and the location was perfect. The waitstaff at the restaraunt however was far from perfect. I had to send back my meal twice. The waiter forgot our drinks, and overall I was not impressed by them.

  I arrived at 4pm and had to wait till 5pm to get into my room. The lobby, restaurant, continental breakfast, swimming pool were all located in a seperate building across the street. The rooms are small. The bathroom was tiny. The closet was not deep enough to hang a hanger. There was no data port. There was an ironing board but no iron. I had to park on the street a block away. Never again. Not what I expect from a Days Inn.

  This is the second time we have stayed here and enjoyed both experiences. Even though we prepaid for a standard ""annex"" room, we were upgraded to a room in the historic building. When we asked for a refrigerator, we were moved into the deluxe one-bedroom suite which was beautifully decorated in a victorian theme. What a delightful surprise! However, there was some confusion with our bill when we checked out which was settled satisfactorily.
