  I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel after reading some reviews that stated it didn't meet those reviewers expectations. I don't know what they were talking about; this hotel is fine. Hotel staff were quick and friendly; the hotel was safe and clean. Our room was the exact standard of quality as any other Embassy Suites hotel. The complimentary happy hour was great, and the breakfast was excellent. Most Embassy Suites have a covered atrium; this one is 3 stories high and open. That was the only difference I could see. Our agenda was to see Solvang and a nearby Indian casino; both were easy to reach from this location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying there.

  Friendly staff, cooked to order breakfast with a surprising amount of variety. (no restaurant on premises for other meals) Clean, spacious room. Bathroom was tiny and the sink located outside in the bedroom area. Overall, a nice place to stay.
