  The hotel was even better than expected. Our room was huge and the beds were very comfortable. We were upgraded for free to a full ocean view room upon arrival. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely ba staying at this hotel again and highly recommend it to other travelers. Also the complimentary cooked to order breakfast was fantastic. The the marble bathrooms advertised were better and bigger than expected. It was a great place to stay.

  We book a suite for 4 adults through travel website. I indicated in my travel website search that I would have 4 adults and I assumed that the price that was charged was for 4 adults. When we arrived at the hotel, we were charged an additional $41 per adult on top of the amount travel website charged. We also had to pay for self parking. It was $15.00. When I arrived at the room, I thought that the cleaning job seemed below average. I noticed black fuzz in the sink, spots on the cup, missing shampoo bottles. However, the beds were nicely made as though the room had been cleaned. Then, after sleeping on the linens, I notice shopping bags in the closet and someone elses food in the fridge. The front desk clerk said, ""Ok, I will check in to it."" No credit was offered. No apology. After throwing a fit, I was only given a $15.00 parking credit! If you stay at this hotel, do a full room check. It is not an upscale resort! On a positive note, the restaurant staff was terrific. They were great with the children. The menu was kid friendly.

  THE HOTEL WAS RIGHT ON THE BEACH, NEEDS SOME UPDATING. THE LOBBY AND POOL WERE LOVELY. DID NOT EAT THERE, COULDN'T COMMENT OF FOOD. THE MANAGERS COCKTAIL HOUR WAS A BIT OF A JOKE, BUT THE BREAKFAST WAS NICE.

  Yes the rooms look a little older (I stayed in Bldg 2 and my co-worker in Bldg 8) but the rooms are clean, large, very comfortable and have a bedroom and two bathrooms. The balcony was perfect and I was able to work out there. The staff was very friendly and helpful and lots of friendly people at the managers reception (drinks, chips, crackers and veggies). You're right on the ocean and a paved trail goes long the property. Parking is underground so you're close to your room and don't hear it.

  I stayed for one night in a ground floor room(s). I first checked into a room (about midnight) that smelled very moldy and had bugs. I asked for different room and was moved to a 2nd room that smelled worse but appeared clean. During the night I found the reason for the moldiness was a wet floor. Had been wet for some time as my stocking was green. When I spoke with the front desk manager in the morning she told me that I should have said something during the night (at 2:00am?). She told me that it was the smell of an ocean side hotel. The manager refused to visit the room with me. I had the distinct impression that they were aware of the problem. They deducted only $50 even after being shown the Embassy Suites 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Then during lunch with guests we had birds flying around our table with feathers on the tablecloth - this is an indoor restaurant. I excused myself to speak to the staff about it and the seemed to think it a joke. When I returned my guests were ready to leave and told me not to sit down as one of the birds had pooped on my chair. Not only was it a dirty experience but the lack of respect and concern by both the front desk and restaurant was appalling.
