  This was my first time visiting California. My stay was for 9 days in Jun '09. The staff was superb and always available to assist me from points of interest to recovering keys dropped down the elevator shaft. I will DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

  I WAS UNFAMILIAR WITH THE AREA, SO PICKING A HOTEL WAS DIFFICULT AFTER READING THE REVIEWS I DECIDED TO STAY HERE. I WAS PLEASENTLY SURPRISED THE VALUE WAS GREAT AND THE STAFF WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND HELPFUL. THE ROOMS WERE BIG AND CLEAN. THE GROUNDS WERE ALSO NICE. I WOULD DENFINETLY STAY HERE AGAIN.

  For the price Rooms are very nice and clean, just like the picture. Very safe parking. However, very noisy location, its right next to the airport. You hear airplanes every second. Service was good, but it could be better. Trendy bar.

  We needed a place in the area, quickly. We were very happy with the quality of the hotel (particularly considering this was Van Nuys). The front desk upgraded our room to a deluxe--without being asked. The jazz act in the lounge was enjoyable and the dinner was excellent. A complimentary dessert sampler was capped off a wonderful stay.

  Very clean. Employees easy to find. Pool area well maintained; "soft water". Each chair with fitted towel and pool towel ready. Security for parking (parking was extra $9/day). Local airport always busy but not unbearable. TV small. I had to call for toilet paper. Beds comfortable. Wide below window air conditioner. Dark curtains to allow daytime sleep. I did not check out the restaurant or fitness center but it looked busy. This was our second visit.
