  I really loved this place. Very quiet rooms. Beautiful view. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Fantastic customer service, wonderful valet service. Everyone was so attentive. I recommended it to friends the second day I was there, and I will be back. I lived in LA for 30 years before moving to Oregon. This was like truely being home. Great beach right there. The Beachcomber Resturant was a 5 minute walk away....wonderful, delightful food. The food at the hotel was ok, fresh ingrediants. 24 hour room service. Nice assortment of drinks, wine, beer & food at the minibar. They had put water in my car when I took it out. Wonderful attention to details to make it a wonderful experience!

  I was very disappointed in our stay especially for the amount of money I paid. First, you have to pay for everything! I've had a better steak at a diner. The service (other than housekeeping) was awful. The front desk guy, Eugene, was a jerk. He haggled me and argued with me over a piddley $60. The manager would not even come up front to speak with me personally. i ended up leaving furious. I definitely don't want to spend my last moments arguing back and forth. It left a lasting negative last impression. Best advice is find somewhere else where they appreciate your business. Customer service is everything, and I will never return. Furthermore, I will be sharing my experience with everyone that asks how my trip went. Thanks for making what would have been an amazing evening, a complete nightmare.

  I went to the Malibu Beach Inn with my teenage daughter for a family wedding in Malibu. The view from our balcony was spectacular. It was dark and the waves crashing was an awesome sight. The bed was very comfortable and the room, although small was very clean and reasonably well decorated. Everyone working there from the valet parking attendants, front desk, waiters, and concierge were very friendly and helpful. They are closing for a complete renovation, I hope I will be able to afford to go back!! Highly reccomended."
