  The place was clean, no smell, no road noise, and the furniture looked new. I did hear my loud neighbor talking. There was a free wifi, a tv with cable, a fridge and a microwave oven in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful in giving me road directions. It is on El Camino Real, so a lot of shops nearby. The breakfast included pour-the-batter-on-the-grill waffle, bagels, muffins, fruits, and boiled eggs, a protein option I appreciated. There are cheaper motels nearby, but after suffering from smell and highway noise from another place the night before, I was willing to pay a little more for a comfortable night's sleep. My rating reflects the fact that this is a very good place for the price and a basic stay (I didn't care about having a pool on this trip, for example, because I don't hang around at a motel. I just sleep and shower there.), but it is not Ritz-Carlton.
