  The Hotel itself was ok, but the service was lacking, When we checked in, they gave us a room with 1 king bed for me, my wife and 2 kids. We got switched to a 2nd room and when i opened the door, housecleaning had not been there yet. Finally we got the 3rd room, and were advised that it overlooked the DJ booth "and might be a bit noisy". The pool area was not too clean, and each night when we took the kids swimming there were no towels, and we had to use our own. Overall, I was not impressed. The front desk staff was condescending when we asked for a change in room.

  Hotel has old bones and couldn't wifi with my mac from room. Had to go to lobby at 10PM to check and write email. If I knew that I could have wified from dinner in Culver City where entire public area is accessible.

  this hotel is perfect for getting started in LA. Close to airport and venice beach with many tours collecting from hotel. Great views and large rooms. Staff friendly and lobby comfortable with cool outdoor relaxed bar area ( glow).

  Very pleasant hotel. Very attractive lobby, carpets, ""atrium"" with outdoor fireplaces, fountains, sofas. Pool small, unshaded. Narrow dining terrace above. Restaurant too narrow, crowded & noisy at Sunday brunch but it was good @ $26, including coffee. Gym redone nicely. Cucumber water cold-free @ entrance. Bar food menus kept hidden. Fantastic view from upstairs party room. Saw all of LA plus planes taking off & landing. Nice employees.

  Directly across the street from a sandy cove in the marina with room for the kids to play and run. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Service was excellent. People were very friendly and helpful. It is a top of the line Marriott. Pay the extra and stay here!
