  We moved here from the Ayres Hotel at Hawthorne, Manhattan Beach, to be near the family. Parking rates at $2 every 20 minutes, or daily rate of $17 we came and visited my Dad the day before we checked in for an hour and it cost $8. There is no reason for this other than greed, this hotel is nowhere near the beach or even in a congested area, the garage was empty most of the time. Breakfast buffet $17.95 really? does that seem fair for a buffet and an egg chef? Hotel could not confirm (or provide) double beds for my brother, he ended up with 2 rooms. Go to the Ayes Hotel Hawthorne round the corner free parking and breakast, no egg chef, but much nicer place and better value.

  It was ridiculous, you need to pay for parking even if you park the car yourself. also it is very very far from the beach. not staying here anymore.

  My family and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. We had an extra unexpected guest join us and needed a bed for them; the hotel rapidly provided a bed and extra blankets. It had a very relaxing atmosphere as well as a clean enviornment. We really enjoyed it (all of us) and hope to come a back soon and stay here again! I would personally recommend it to anyone!! Great hotel, great price!! A+++++ Perfect 10!

I will make sure my us govt. money will not be wasted in this property. regardless of marriotts govt. relations. thanks folks you are your own. Please please do not use the travel ewbsite at any circumstances!!!!!! if you have to use price line thnaks again.

  Don't let manhatten beach fool you! it was no where near the beach. it was right on the border of el seugundo which is basically lax territory.

  Don't let Manhatten Beach fool you! It was no where near the beach. It was right on the border of El Seugundo which is basically LAX territory.
  There was no "red coat" service as the website says. Don't get a city view room, you will end up having a view of the parking deck.
  There was one restaurant which was closed one night because the server did not show up.
  The rooms were standard Marriott rooms. Nothing special.
  The only redeeming quailty abot this hotel was the location. There are many great restaurants in walking distance. There is also a big shopping mall that can be walked to.
  I am a frequent busines traveler and I was not impressed.
