    Our family loved this hotel and the rooms, they welcomed us very nice and made us feel safe. Our room was big and very clean. I thought the complimentary breakfast was going to be just coffee and muffins but not, they had almost everything including hot waffles. We were leaving very early in the mornings for our tours so we felt like the breakfast was only for us. Front desk was very helpfull and provided directions and maps to every where. We were very close to restaurants, grocery stores and many atractions . For the price we paid; It was a good option I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip to San Diego.

    We stayed 3 nights in September while we were sight-seeing in San Diego. We stayed here because we were looking for a clean, quiet hotel. The Travelodge exceeded our expectations in both areas. The entire hotel was super clean. The floors in the interior hallway shined and our room was just as clean. I felt very safe in the area. It was close to the highway, but not near enough to be bothered by noise. Each morning as guests had breakfast, the front desk manager asked where they were touring and provided maps and directions to their destination, as well as other helpful area information. The entire staff was always asking if everything was satisfactory. The hotel is NOT a resort; IT IS a good budget-conscious place to stay while enjoying all the sights that San Diego has to offer. We were happily surprised that although it is not near to the attractions, we did not have trouble with the traffic even though we were generally driving into town during morning rush and back to the hotel during the evening rush hour. Some comments mentioned parking problems; we did not have a problem, but we do not drive a giant SUV. We would definitely recommed this hotel to our friends and will stay for our next trip to the San Diego area.

    After a 13 Hour drive with my family we stopped here and prepared to finally get off the highway. We went in to check in and were treated as if we were scum. The two managers stared at my family for a long period of time....was a little scary really. One room would have had 5 people but they only allow 4 max per room. Was no problem we had the fifth person set up to stay eleswhere. The manager decided to come over and see what the person at the desk was doing and told us we were not allowd to stay there becasue first we had 5 people then we had 4 and we were being shady. After some debate and realizing we were being judged and were not going to stay we went to Rodeway Inn in La Mesa. These managers were rude and very disrespectful.

    Stayed here during trip to seaworld and san diego zoo. very clean. nice neighboorhood. easy access to stores and restaurants. breakfast okay. friendly staff. best travelodge i have ever seen.

    We were there for 4 nights,it is really nice to stay,the service from front desk,early morning breakfast were really fantastic.I n our last day of stay my 2.5 year old son got fever,i came to front desk and ask for finding the 24 hr medical stores.he really helped me to find the address,i like their patience and way they helped me @ 5.15 am.
