  I was there over this past weekend and it was absolutely horrible. I only stayed there because it was down the street from a wedding I attended at the Croatian. When my friends and I checked in, there was a party going on by the pool. It was mainly an older crowd. We asked the front desk what was going on and they said it was a couple's only party. I had no idea what that meant, but apparently one of my friends did. Nevertheless, we went to the pool area and had an older gentleman approach us. We asked him what the occasion was and he said everyone there were members . We asked him to be more specific, and he said that they all belong to a group called Swingers Lifestyle. The bathroom in our rooms did not work properly, the doors were jammed, and the hotel hallways smelled like funk. Even the elevators were dated and the entrance doors to the hotel were not even automatic.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. the hotel was clean but very old. It is being rennovated, which did not cause us any problems. It wasn't great, but it was a good lcoation and for the price--just fine.

  For their low rate - I expected a lessor quality property. When arriving we were greeted by very nice people working at the desk - they went out of their way to assist us with directions to different areas in Sacramento. Rooms were clean which was a plus. Older property that is being renovated (rooms were not bad at all), served a continential breakfast to our suprise and they had a shuttle to take us to the mall & had fun in the lounge later with karaoke. Great Service and a Great Location. We will stay again if in this area!
