  My family and I stayed one week at this Hotel and the service was excellent. The hotel site as well as the room were very clean. The maid service was excellent!!!. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Los Angeles/Manhattan Beach area. We were 8 minutes from the LAX Airport and near a variety of restaurants, grocery stores and a target. We wer also close to several of the major highways. We are planning another trip to LA in November and we plan to stay here again. The only thing we found uncomfortable was the mattress. It was a little too lumpy for us.

  We stayed Oct 24-27, 2008. The room names confused me and we originally had reserved the ""one-bedroom studio"" (which was really a large one-bedroom studio with a sofabed & kitchen area. That would have been OK for two little children, but we upgraded to the ""studio room"" which had a separate bedroom, bedroom loft, living room & kitchen area, and two full bathrooms. That was plenty of room for four adults, and there was even a fold-out couch if needed. The desk staff were very friendly, maid service was great, the unit was well-equipped and the breakfast was fine. There was no wireless internet in the room, only in the lobby and breakfast area, so I had to use the LAN port in the bedroom. Parking was convenient. It was on a busy road, so you have to drive everywhere, but it was also convenient to western beach towns and LAX. I'd recommend it for any extended stay, and it was a great bargain for our two couples.

  We were pleased with our current stay at R.I. in Manhattan Beach. The room was spacious, well furnished with a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and housekeeping did a good job keeping the suite clean. There are a swimming pool and a tennis court available for the guests. Breakfast and ""happy hour"" were complimentary but there is no happy hour on weekend. Breakfast food was decent with typical food like waffle, french toast etc....Internet access and parking were free. At night they have security seating in the parking lot (I think until midnight) and they will ask for your room number when you pool into the parking lot. The only thing we were not too happy with was the level of noise at night from people walking in their rooms above us at night; other than that, everything else was good. Two blocks away, there is Manhattan Beach Village with movie theaters, restaurants and grocery store. The hotel is near LAX which is very convinient for early flights, but it far away from LAX enough that you're not bothered by the noises the air planes. We would definitely stay there again.

  I love this place. The staff is so great. Breakfast is included, as is snacks for happy hour (plus beer & wine!). The rooms feel like a nice apartment away from home. Free internet. Close to LAX and beaches. Quiet rooms. Canned fruit for breakfast, but this is the only, and very minor, downside.

  Great assistance from front desk. great location for access to airport, other l.a. attractions, and manhattan & redondo beaches. and of course, the beds were great.
