  We arrived at the Super 8 Motel in Bremerton and our 2 rooms were ready. Staff was friendly. One of the rooms #217 was much cleaner than #213. My daughter in law had room 217 and it even smelled much cleaner than our room. Room 213's carpet was filthy. It did not look like it has been vacuumed. It had obviously not been washed in a very long long long time. During the night my husband had to get up barefooted, and next am took shower and left black footprints in bath/shower. The bath/shower drain was slow, so you got almost ankle deep water while showering. The stale cigarette smell was just terrible in our room. We noticed the room window was wide open when we arrived and now we know why. My daughter in law's room only faintly smelled of cigarette smoke. I will not stay at this motel again. Very disappointed.

  Hotel was off the highway enough to be quiet, but still very convenient. The room was satisfactory in size and cleanliness. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a good selection for a "continental" breakfast, even packets of instant oatmeal. We would have liked some fruit, but there were several kinds of breads, cereals, beverages, etc.

  We were in the area for a week and had fifty-pound suitcases. They put us on the third floor at the END of the hall. No elevator. Lots of steps. We asked for an extra pillow and "there weren't any". We've stayed at Super 8's before. This one was newish, didn't smell bad. Amenities were basic but adequate. Just not fun to haul our luggage in and out of the room.
