  This hotel was a cheap place to stay in Berkeley to visit the city. The room and amenities were fine except that we requested a non-smoking room and it still smelled like cigarettes. The front desk and housekeeping staff were nice. Free parking and wireless access was good. It's good for a short stay, but any more than a couple of nights might be difficult to bear. The location is fine; it's walkable to the campus, BART, and local eateries.

  This hotel, which should be called a slum motel. The clerk was a rude tweeker, housekeeping did not know the meaning of Do Not Disturb, and the location was worse DONT STAY HERE!!
