  We stayed here to be close to sfo for an early morning flight. returned rental car the evening before and they had explicit directions on getting to rental car return. ...

  We stayed here to be close to SFO for an early morning flight. Returned rental car the evening before and they had explicit directions on getting to rental car return. Van picked us up within 15 minutes of calling and was also on time the next morning to bring us to the airport. Free breakfast only added to the value.

  This Travelodge is in a good location - very close to the BART for ease in getting around SF. The room was comfortable & well kept. The outside surroundings were made pleasant by an outside courtyard with delightful paintings & flowers, nice seating areas. Nice variety of items on the complementary continental breakfast. The service from the registration area staff was outstanding & very helpful.

  We cannot tell you waht a great experience we had when we stayed at hte Travelodge in Milbrae. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful when we inquired about tours and such. The bed was very comfortable, and though the room was not huge, it was immaculate and all that we needed. The convenience of the transportation back and forth to the airport was fantastic. The fact that it was a very short walk to the BART was wonderful and gave us a chance to experience every aspect of the city while traveling around on public transportation. For future visitors: Make sure you take advantage of the multiple day passes on the public transportation. Simply take Bart to the Powell Street stop, get off, walk up the steps and there is information about the tickets and you can purchase them there. It more than pays for itself, just in the cable car fees. The breakfast the staff provided was wonderful, everything and anything that a person could want. Actually reminded us of the breakfasts we had in Germany. We plan on recommending this motel to all of our friends and acquaintences who are planning trips to that area.

  I stayed here on two different nights and found everything to be satisfactory. The location is ideal: the BART and CALTRAIN station is right down the street, and the hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport (about a 10-minute ride). The room furnishings are basic, but the bed was wonderful! The shower had great pressure and scalding hot water. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was the usual no-frills starchy fare, with one exception: a selections of cold cuts and cheeses was provided. The breakfast area contains only two small tables. Guests may have to eat outside on the patio for lack of seating. There is a very good Japanese restaurant/sushi bar right next door. Overall, the hotel price was very reasonable for the SF area. I would definitely stay here again.

  This is a great location - within walking distance of many great restaurants,drug store,grocery store and BART Breakfast was better than most-cold meats, cheese,eggs plus usual. Staff very helpful. Room was small but adequate. Would have liked refrigerator.
