  I don't know if the TV works we were on the go so all we used the room for was sleep. The beds were comfortable. The room was small and clean. It is a short drive to the Larkspur ferry station, free parking, that goes to the Pier 39 end of Fisherman's Wharf. Much cheaper than driving to the Wharf. The room had a coffee maker and a supply of coffee, regular and lead-free. When we ran out a quick trip to the office renewed our supply. The breakfast at the office consisted of coffee, juice, cereal, and various pastries including chocolate croissants. Nearby is a great path around a water feature for walking and jogging. The east Indian restaurant nextdoor was great. If you like Indian food or like to experiment I recommend it.

  The hotel staff was friendly & the facility was cleaner that the reviews indicated. If staying in a room away from the highway the noise level is quite liveable. They are actively upgrading the facility. In our room - just about everything had been upgraded to incl the bathroom fixtures, wallpaper, bed linens, etc. Carpet is still old - but manageable. Price is good for the area and the proximity to Sausalito is excellent [5 minutes].

• TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

  4 nights: ! the carpet is absolutely dirty. try to walk with no shoes... the breakfast is unbeliavable!!! guests take the coffee at the lobby, with no space and no places ...

  4 nights: ! THE CARPET IS ABSOLUTELY DIRTY. Try to walk with no shoes... The BREAKFAST is unbeliavable!!! Guests take the coffee at the lobby, with no space and no places to sit.
