  The room was very large and spacious, which was nice. I was disappointed that they charged $3.99 a day for wireless internet access. They did offer a free breakfast each day, which consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast/bagels as well as oatmeal and juices, which was a nice touch. They also offered a BBQ in the evening, although I did not take advantage of that. The pictures that were on the site were of the property across the street, which is the nicer of the two properties. Overall it was a nice stay.

  this hotel was great we stayed in the suits and it was great. huge room, super clean and centrally located in pacific grove, 5mins to the aquarium and fisherman's wharf, just down the street from 17mile drive and ocean. would stay again for sure!

  My husband and I stayed at the Suites for 3 nights and had a great time. The room was large with a vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and jacuzzi tub. We were well-fed each morning with a chef-prepared breakfast, and every afternoon we had a wide array of appetizers and free wine. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. I would definitely recommend the suites, especially for a couple, as it seems that most of the families were across the street at the Lodge. The grounds were quiet and right by the beach, downtown Pacific Grove, and the infamous Cannery Row in Monterey.

  Stayed weekend for big sur marathon. Stayed in suite recently remodeled after electrical fire I was told. fireplace in bedroom didnt work and tv in bedroom volume was broken. It never was replaced or fixed the entire weekend and when I did complained they said take it up with travel agency that is who you booked the room with really poor customer service. they had booked some event and could not use on site resteruant or provided breakfast. Location is fantastic but they need some lessons in customer service and fix the rooms!

  We stayed in their studio suite, which was spacious with a king bed, fireplace, and a view into the neighborhood. We felt this room was in need of some service though. The toilet valve was broken, so it didn't flush right and wouldn't stop running. The faucet leaked and constantly dripped out wasted water and the when burning the gas fire it smelled like unburned gas or that the smoke was getting into the room instead of going up the flue. I was afraid to leave it on for long and possibly make us sick. I can say that this was a quite room and I appreciated the soft sound of the ceiling fan and the spaceous shower, but the bathtub jacuzzi didn't work. I couldn't find a switch that would turn it on (the switch I found did nothing). Still, I would stay here again, if the price was right. It is in a nice location and close to the beach and this area is not touristy or crowded and we were here during the Sea Otter Races.
