  Stayed there with a friend to go down and enjoy the sun and beaches. Rooms are massive, clean, great helpful staff. Cafe restuarant is very truck stoppish but moderate. The restaurant attached is amazing! Not cheap but not expensive. Typical Best Western size pools and outside jacuzzi. Lots of outdoor seating. Beach in back of hotel is great. Large with little partial ocean view. Facing the marina next door. This is a fantastic spot to stay cheap and walk 10 minutes along the water front to Venice Beach. $20 cab to airport. Again great spot to go and sun, beach and surf. If you want to be catered on, then dont stay here, go to the Hilton where they *%@$ your butt there. This is for the average person wanting clean comfortable stay that wants to be close to Venice area.

  I should have paid attention to the other reviews when they advised that the noise from the bar next door was very annoying. I really like complete silence when I sleep. But this did not happen here. The boom-boom repeating music from the bar kept me up for three hours. If I wanted noise, I would have gone to a cheaper place. Soda machine did not work, and the coffee at the restaurant was weak and tasted like chlorine. Thank God that Starbucks was a 5 block walk away.
