  Requested a room for 5 and was told it was not a problem. The room had 2 double beds and a roll away. The room was so small that the only place the roll away would fit was in front of the sink...which blocked anyone from using the toilet or shower. There is a daily charge for parking. We were told the pool is heated...my guess is it's heated only by the sun. The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. They were out of many things on the menu, ice cream, crab cakes, etc., and the menu is small to begin with. The child's hamburger is only about 2 inches across. Stairs to the restaurant, lobby, and half of the rooms...no elevator. The rooms are quiet and black out drapes are nice.

  The hotel is in a great location of Laguna Beach, the beach is across the street, grocery store next door, food/clubs downstairs and others within walking distance. Great heated pool with a mediteranian setting; (just look at th photos). The staff was very pleasant and helped me with directions and places to go. The rooms are good size with flat panel TV's and a very comfortable setting. The price for the area and location is unbeatable. I loved the stay and would come back here again!

  After having read the previous reviews about the Holiday Inn, I was a little concerned. Once there, however, I was very happy with the accommodations. My room had been remodeled and had every amenity I needed. It overlooked the inviting swimming pool (wish I had brought my suit!). They have complimentary beverages in the lobby. It was within 1/2 mile of Laguna Beach proper so it enabled me to walk to everything. The only negative, which had not been disclosed, was that they do charge for parking. Other than that, I had a great stay and would stay there again.

  Arrived with my family of 4 at 7pm. We had a reservation for a double room and were told all that was available was a single. The rooms are very small and 2 of us had to sleep on the floor. The hotel staff was rude and unsympathetic. We were offered no compensation and there were was no other accommodations available in LB. I was most upset the hotel staff was very rude. I would never bring my family here again. I only reccommend staying here if you will be spending very little time in your room since the location is good and a reservation means nothing.

  We love laguna beach. the motel was within easy walk to the beach. laguna was very quiet over the thanksgiving holiday-just what we needed.
