  Chose this property because it included free wireless internet. Not only was there not wireless internet, there was not internet at all! Even in the business center. Was told there was a problem with the provider and that there was no certain date when service would be restored. Also, there was no complimentary buffet in the morning. What was served was coffee and cold small muffins. That's it. Only coffee and Costco muffins. Nothing else. Service at check-in was also poor. Had to ask for explanation of where room was, what the hotel had to offer, etc. Room was very clean but drapes smelled noticeably of mildew. Would not stay again, even for low price, there are many other options in the area.

  Chose this property because it included free wireless internet. Not only was there not wireless internet, there was not internet at all! Even in the business center. Was told there was a problem with the provider and that there was no certain date when service would be restored. Also, there was no complimentary buffet in the morning.   I recently stayed here for one night after which I needed to check my bag at the front desk for about 9 hours (that morning until later that afternoon). When I picked up my bag my relatively new 5th generation iPod was missing. I'm certain I packed it as I brought it along specifically for the ride home and verified once home that it was not left behind before my trip. I spoke with the manager, who was courteous on the phone and agreed to review the security tapes. After a week and a half delay, she finally claimed to have done so but said there was no evidence that it was their fault. Of course not. I'm not sure who else would be at fault given that it was in their possession the whole time, as she claimed. As such, she said they wouldn't be reimbursing me. I can only assume my iPod became self-aware and motile. It's too bad because this place isn't bad for the money, just don't leave your valuables unattended or they may be taken by sticky-fingered staff.

  The Good Buy rating is what enticed us to stay here for our week in the bay area. The location is good, close to highways and easy to find. The hotel itself is in a very industrial area with many vacant buildings surrounding it. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Runny eggs, undercooked sausage. Coffee is served in paper cups. The ""laundry"" was a washer and dryer outside (not in a room) surrounded by housekeeping carts. Since the weather was rainy and cold, there were no chairs to sit on and a big warning sign about stolen property, we felt this ""service"" was inadequate. Housekeeping was interesting to say the least. On the days that a gratuity was left on the bed, there were large soft towels and replenishment of soaps and coffee. However, the day that I forgot to leave something, no soap, no coffee, small hard towels. If you're not going to be in your room for long periods of time, the hotel is adequate. If you book online, the staff makes a point of telling you that ""since you booked with an online booking service"", you will get nothing special (I asked for a first floor room, got upstairs (no elevator) with only half a window because it was behind a pillar). I asked that they print an additional receipt and was told that my online service would provide that for me. Overall, I would look elsewhere and spend the few extra dollars.

  FRONT DESK CHECK IN WAS 30 SECONDS WITH ALL INFORMATION COVERED. ROOM WAS SPOTLESS(MY WIFE IS A STICKLER ON CLEANLINESS). WHAT A VERY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE. WE HAVE STAYED AT OTHER HOTELS IN SAN JOSE THAT COST MORE BUT THIS HOTEL IS FAR SUPERIOR IN ALL ASPECTS. ALL ROOMS FACE OUT SO IF YOU ARE A SMOKER...OPEN YOUR DOOR AND WALK OUT. SUPER PLACE TO STAY WHILE IN SAN JOSE. SHUTTLE TO THE AIRPORT WAS PROMPT(4;30 AM)AND PROFESSIONAL.
