  We arrived late and were given the last room. Although it is a non-smoking hotel (and they make you sign a statement about it), our room reeked of smoke. Also, the bedroom backed up to the 101 freeway and the back door latch (fronting the freeway access ramp) was broken. We complained to the management and asked for another room, but were told it was the last available. They offered a $* discount. Wow! Stay in a smelly, unsafe, noisy room and save $* bucks? No thanks. They advertise themselves as the best bargain in Pismo Beach. In this case, you definitely get what you pay for. I'll never return.

  My fiance and i had a wonderful stay. The hotel room was much nicer than expected for the money and we also got free drinks in the cantina and a free breakfast buffet in the morning.

  Loved the hotel. great price, free breakfast and free happy hour, not fancy but clean and great for families.

  We got a clean 2-Queen suite with separate living area for under $100 through a online travel website. Hotel grounds were very nice with 2 interior courtyards (3 including pet area), swimming pool and 2 spas. (Didn't have time for pool, unfortunately.) Very nice breakfast buffet with actual eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Room was clean and beds comfy. Living area included sofa bed, so kids could stay, too. (No kids on this trip.) Bathroom rather small, but clean and certainly usable. Had a problem with a TV remote, and someone was at our room within minutes to help solve the problem. Check in and check out was fast & friendly. We'd definitely stay here again.

  The hotel was clean and comfortable. There were no problems with our reservations even after booking them the day prior to our arrival. The front desk could have done a better job of explaining the need for vouchers to obtain the complimentary evening drinks and morning breakfast. We were asked to present the vouchers for breakfast and had to return to our room to find them. They were in the key packet for one day only even though we had reservations for two nights. We later had to return to the front desk and ask for the second vouchers.
