  The antiques located throughout the hotel were wonderful. Sitting by the fireplace with real logs burning was very romantic, only they were short staffed and any food or beverages you wanted in the lobby, you had to go to the bar and order for yourself. The rooms also were wonderful, full of antiques and a very comfortable bed. The only problem was we were close to the kitchen and heard lots of banging, so a good night sleep was not available until the kitchen was closed. It was also warm in the room. A fan of would have helped. Other than these few quirks, we enjoyed our stay. L&L.

Oversized rooms and fablous 2 acres of gardens.Antiques, persain carpets and warm old world ambiance and charm ZAGAT 2007 says""a California menu right on the mark"" and the wine list has awards for ""excellence"" with good value and many ""boutique"" wines .Bar food is great and a bargain
