  I had two problems with this motel. 1) the location is away from much in the way of eateries and it's in a very industrial zone and 2) the WiFi was horrible. I could not get much in the way of work done at all. The staff kept making excuses and eventually gave access to a hard wired computer but that didn't help me much. I needed the stuff on my computer. In this day and age people have come to rely on adequate WiFi for travelling.

• Wouldn't try staying there again!

  I tried, I mean I really tried to stay at this the Rodeway Inn & Suites in Spokane one night but the desk clerk, ;name deleted due to Travel website policies, wouldn't allow me to check into the room my wife had reserved - and paid for - for us. I offered him ID but it wasn't good enough. I gave him the confirmation number, he told me that wasn't it. The fine folks at Choice Hotels called and told him to give me the room, he would't yield. The fine gnomes at Travel website guys called and told him the room was mine. but still he refused. After reading the other comments here, I'm glad I booked a room elsewhere. Hey, Travel website, why, when you have customers having such consistently poor experiences with one of your suppliers, do you continue to send other unsuspecting lambs to the slaughter? Give this hotel the boot!

  When we got our room it smelled and the sheets were at best "questionable" .the "rec room" was an old tread mill from walmart, maybe 30 ...

  when we got our room it smelled and the sheets were at best "questionable" .the "rec room" was an old tread mill from walmart, maybe 30 dollars new. and the pool honestly had not been cleaned...ever i got a foot condition from dipping my foot in to check if it was warm. when i asked the manager he said the pool was cleaned every day or two but there was a nice layer of leaves and alge on the bottom. oh yeah when i asked a maid she said she had PERSONALY never seen it get cleaned. i'm not even close to joking. We bought new sheets at walmart to sleep in for that night. We stayed in the older not attached building and my cousin got the NEW building that the reception was in and his room was nice, if your defanition of "nice" means no smell or heavely satuated sheets ... not stained saturated.

  When we checked in the staff was not friendly or customer service oriented at all. during the night our hotel room flooded due to a problem with the toilet. one ...

  When we checked in the staff was not friendly or customer service oriented at all. During the night our hotel room flooded due to a problem with the toilet. One of the owners came up to look at the toilet and rather than figuring out the problem he went right downstairs and charged our credit card $350.00 without our consent or knowledge. After cleaning up our things and moving them to a new room I went into the bathroom to see if I could figure out what had happened. Water was continuing to run onto the floor even though the owner had been in there several times. I turned the water off and then tried to explain to the owner that the toilet had been continuously running and that it had a valve problem or something that needed to be fixed. He insisted that we clogged the toilet and flooded the room and it was our fault. "When we tried to check out the next morning he wanted us to pay for the damages. He of course did not mention that he had already charged us without even knowing what the problem was. We had the owner call the police so that we could finally leave the premises. The owner has insisted that he will be filing a civil suit against us, even thought the night manager as well as the police officer told him that he had a plumbing problem. During our time with the officer, several other guest were having issues with the $50.00 credit that they should receive at check out. The owner was rude, unreasonable, and totally unsuited for a position in customer service. Instead of receiving a refund for our stay, or damages to our things, we got charged for their plumbing issues.

  The room was terrible. besides being small the sheets looked like they had just been turned over from there previous persons stay. they pillows on the bed were not regular ...

  The room was terrible. Besides being small the sheets looked like they had just been turned over from there previous persons stay. They pillows on the bed were not regular size (had to go to Wal-Mart and buy some). When we checked in we were hit with a $25.00 cash deposit or they needed a credit card to hold $50.00 on which would be returned when we checked out. When we were ready to leave I went to the office to get my deposit back and was told I needed to be totally out of the room and to call them when we were. I called and when he got there, we were told to exit the room, stand in the cold so he could look around the room. He was rude and told me that I should feel lucky that usually they would have made me walk back over to the office to sign for my deposit but he had brought it with him so I should be happy. I was hot happy. I would not recommend this motel even to my worst enemy.
