  I stayed at this location three years ago and had a very unpleasant experience last time. I was visiting the silicon valley again and as a budget traveler I got on the internet and looked for the best price. I found this Vagabond Inn Santa Clara to have the lowest price. I was very reluctant to book so I called up the hotel and found out that it was still the same people working from three years ago. I told them my name and to my suprise they remembered who I was. I was told that the property had gone through a major renovation and everything was brand new in the room, so I decided that I would give them a try again since the staff was friendly. I checked in and I was amazed at the transformation in the rooms. The bed was most comfortable bed i ever slept in at a motel and room had everything in it including a microwave and small fridge. I would recomend this hotel to anyone that is on a buget and wants a clean safe room. I was so happy to see the big change in the room condition from the last time and that the price was still the same.
