What a fantastic find! This gem is distant from the freeway despite easy, direct access. It's nestled amongst giant redwood trees and looks more like a setting within a National Park. The room was well-appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the rate was bargan!!!

Wife and I were passing through Tigard, OR and found this place online. The price was the least expensive that we found and we, accordingly, had fairly low expectations.
To our surprise, the room with kitchenette was stocked with what we needed (plates, cups, flatware, cooking utensils, etc) and was in good condition. The only small downside was that there was no oven; just two burners.
The room was fairly spacious and clean.
The inn is located off of I-5, but not so close you could hear it. It's tucked back in a business complex, which obviously wasn't open on the weekend. There was little to no traffic.
It's conveniently located near 217 (Beaverton/Tigard Hwy) but again, not so close you can hear the traffic.
There are a couple of stores located close as well.
Overall, a good place to "hang out" for a while.

  • Don't check in after hours!

We arrived around 1:30am (office closed at 11pm). I called earlier to let the hotel know we would be late and was told that was no problem, and to just use the emergency phone and the night person would check us in. When the night person handed me the keys, she told me to just check first because there might be someone in the room already. I asked her to call since I didn't want to wake anyone up in the middle of the night, so she ended up going down to the room and there was someone using the room. We went back to the office and she gave us another room which smelled like an ashtray (we had requested non-smoking) and said she couldn't give us a key because she couldn't issue keys....the office people would have to do that in the mornning. When I commented about the cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room, she said she knew and went back to the office to see if she had any more rooms. She found one more room (that I think was reserved for someone else) that was fine. I had a difficult time sleeping wondering if anyone else would be given keys to our room during the night. I don't blame the night person really. Everything should have been left ready for her. However, she didn't know the answer to any of my questions (like how much was internet access and the password, etc.). The rest of our short stay was fine. So, if you use the place, just don't check in after the office has closed!
