  I was looking for a hotel in Morro Bay, on the bay, for a getaway with my wife. She has never been to the area, so I wanted a memorable experience. The Inn at Morro Bay is a great hotel, in a great location, but not in the middle of tourist hell. Its on the water, the rooms are comfortable, and its close to the waterfront recreation/tourist area. We chose this location since it was on the ocean, but its proximity to Hearst Castle, and the Paso Robles Wine Country area made it ideal. I will definately come back. Next time I will get a room with the Hot Tub on the deck.

  The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, but the rooms looked like it needed updating, the bathroom reminded us of "psycho" is was old and the shower ...

  The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, but the rooms looked like it needed updating, the bathroom reminded us of "Psycho" is was old and the shower had no walls and a drain in the floor with only a Shower curtain. The hotel boasted a view of the Morro Bay Rock from every room, but we were no where near and bay and could not see the rock. We brought take-out food with us, but the hotel could not offer us plastic utensils, even though they had two restaurants on site. The hotel also seemed to be in the middle of the woods, and we did not feel very safe being there. This hotel was not nearly as nice as it was made out to be, we would not stay there again.

  We got there early & they got us aroom bfore normal check-in. they also allow us to upgrade the room. after staff, the food was really outstanding.

  This hotel has changed its rooms, so not all rooms have spas or fireplaces. one could hear the muffled converstaions of other guests through the walls.

  My husband and I spent our honeymoon in one of the suites overlooking the bay and morro rock, on the first floor. We had a wonderful time, great service and beautiful room. The spa on our patio could have stayed warmer longer--but we still had a wonderful time and plan on returning for our anniversaries.
