  We found this hotel to be better than we had expected. The staff was very friendly and made you feel like family. It was a block from the most beautiful beach that was deserted compared to beaches in San Diego. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

  We stayed 1 night here for our 15 year anniversary, and wished we had spent the whole weekend! It is very cozy, with a lot of character. The service was excellent, very friendly staff, and the continental breakfast was awesome! It had hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereal, muffins, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, cocoa, milk, and cider. We will return for a longer stay next time.
