  We stayed here for an overnight trip to Ventura. The grounds are GORGEOUS with lots of colorful flowers, HUGE trees, and surprises around every corner. The grounds and hotel are beautifully maintained and the staff is friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable with a large patio, great view, and comfortable bed. We were right next to the pool and it was actually very quiet. This hotel is worth EVERY PENNY... don't waste your time anywhere else!! I have tried other higher-priced hotels in Ventura that were a huge disappointment. Pierpont Inn is first class all the way!! We didn't try the restaurant, however, it smelled HEAVENLY. We went to Joe's Crab Shack which is right accross the street and we had a great crab & beer dinner there, so that was a bonus!

  This hotel is a keeper. We loved the craftman style furniture and the gas burning fireplace in our room. There is no charge for internet access and it is easy to connect. The tempurpedic bed is a real plus. The facility is clean and well-maintained inside and out. It is a non-smoking hotel, but each room has a semi-private outdoor area if you would like to step outside for a quick fix. Check-in and Check-out are quick and efficient. The staff is wonderful. The lobby is lovely. It is a very short walk to the beach. We didn't have a chance to eat in the restaurant, but took a look and it is beautiful with an ocean view. Our biggest gripe is they stop serving breakfast at 9:30am (weekday) which is a little too early for us. It is close to the freeway, but we could not hear the noise from inside our room. The Pierpont Inn is a great value for the price, and we will definitely return.

  This hotel is close to the beach within walking distance. Some rooms especially on the 2nd floor probably have a view of the ocean. It is close to a busy street so might be a little noisy but did not notice it in the room, just outside. I really like the room and it had a fireplace in it. The only thing was it was a little small but that's fine.

  Overall a very good value, beautiful property and well kept facilities across from the ocean. Neighboring hotels were double the cost. I would recommend this to anyone who is going on a weekend trip. If your main focus is outside your hotel room this is an excellent option. The room, like many in Vegas, serve a purpose as a place to rest and cleanup between activities. The beds were the best (tempurpedic), but the walls were a little thin, and the hotel has many banquet facilities (read: parties) so it was a little loud up until 10pm. My wife who can be a little high maintenance loved the hotel. I would recommend this to friends and family.
