  Our experience in the Westhaven Inn was surprisingly enjoyable! The on-line photo did not do it justice. Hotel chains offer some assurance of what to expect, so an unknown named motel has unknown expectations. Being in the mountains, we basically only expected beds, a toilet, and a shower. As soon as we stepped in the room, we were relieved and all smiles! It was very spacious, easily the size of a 1 bedroom apartment. The bathroom was very roomy and clean. The hot water came on right away and had 2 sinks. 1 next to the toilet and 1 in a dressing area - what a great surprise! The room was clean, fresh and in good repair. The TV was a 24" flat screen LCD HDTV! Awesome! If it wasn't for the reasons we came to this area, I could have spent my entire vacation in my room. It even had a small patio! Wow! This was a first for me! The Inn has a restaurant in walking distance, "The Sportsman's Hall," who's cook is actually a chef. Even a pancake there is an experience to be had! The beds were very comfortable. The manager was always available and business casual, yet professional in presentation. We loved the small rose garden. We had a great stay!

  The Westhaven Inn and staff was a best kept secret bu tthe more people who come and stay will tell their friends (as I will). The rooms were very big, clean and comfortable - they have a huge tub and double bathroom sinks.
