  If you do not have med to high expectations, then this place will suffice. However, I wouldn't plan to stay there more than 1 night. Place was clean but our shower curtain pole was secured with a peice of toilet paper that fell when my 11year old went to take her shower. Not good! So, if you have none to low in expectancy- you can handle a place like this.

  I needed to save money and i must say $ * for 3 nights is a pretty dang good deal. Its near some good food places. Its not in the best area in town but its not in the ghetto !! The guy names C who worked there was real cool and made sure everything was cool. I must complain tho that they lag on getting u towels and dont have a microwave in the room but do have a refrigerator. No pool neither. however if your tryign to save some money and want to stay in SD this is your place.

  This hotel is close to the airport, under$*, about 10 min or so away. Staff was friendly, helpful when asked about public transportation. Old Town trolley is 10 min walk, bus stops including the one to Seaworld only 5min walk. Denny's across the street, as well as 3 other places. You can see the Seaworld sky tower from the hotel as well as the fire works. Don't expect anything fancy, but room was clean, no complaints will definately stay here next time. In reference to the strip clubs, there was no problems they were quiet and other than seeing the signs, I think In N out burger was the biggest attraction.

  We stayed 4 days and it was actually pretty good, now its no fancy 4 or 5 star hotel but for a great price and location for seaworld, beaches and the zoo it was great. The room was good only thing bad abut it is the carpet was stained but we were only there to sleep. Who spends there vacation admiring there room floor? so if your on a buget and want a decent hotel with good location this place is perfect. Just wouldnt go out to late and about after midnight.

  First I'll say the hotel wasn't horrible. It wasn't good, but it wasn't horrible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. (The clerk who checked us in printed a map to a location I was interested in visiting and the one day we requested clean towels they were on our bed when we returned to the hotel.) The location however was not where we expected. We thought it would be closer to Sea World than it was and did not expect it to be around the corner from several topless bars. The area offered many restaurants, was close to the Sports Arena, and shopping (Target, Ross, Trader Joe's, etc.) was readily available. Traffic in the area was fairly heavy and the streets are a little difficult to navigate in the area due to the way they are laid out. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and considering the location, fairly quiet. If you stay at this location don't expect any frills. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room and only one bar of soap to share between the sink and the tub. Ice is available from a machine, but there was no ice bucket, so we placed ice in a plastic shopping bag in the sink. There was a small refrigerator in the room, but the freezer door was missing. The food we placed in the frig all froze. The hotel was rated 3 happy faces, so we expected more than we received. But again, the staff was friendly, the interior of the room was clean, and the location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and freeways.
